SMS Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 28, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the SMS (text message) program operated by Hales Health Insurance (Hales Senior Care) (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to these terms. There is never a cost to work with our agency, and SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing insurance or receiving services.

1. Program Description

When you opt in to the Hales Health Insurance SMS program, we send you text messages related to your coverage and your relationship with our agency. Messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, enrollment-period and coverage deadlines, and direct service communications from your licensed agent. This is not a marketing or promotional program; messages relate to the insurance services you have asked us to help you with.

2. How You Opt In (Consent)

You provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS messages from us in one of the following ways:

  • Website booking form: you enter your mobile number to request a consultation at haleshealthins.com/schedule. A disclosure directly below the phone-number field states that, by providing your number, you agree to receive SMS from us about appointments and coverage.
  • Client portal: when you create your account at haleshealthins.com, you provide and confirm your mobile number under the same disclosure.
  • In person or by phone: a licensed agent collects your verbal or written consent and records your mobile number.

We never send messages to a number that has not opted in. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see “Opt-Out” below).

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and your coverage timeline. You will typically receive messages only around scheduled appointments, enrollment deadlines, or when your agent needs to reach you.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply to every message you send or receive. Hales Health Insurance does not charge you for text messages; check with your wireless provider for details on your plan.

5. Opt-Out — Reply STOP

You may opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message, and no further SMS messages will be sent to you. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. To re-enroll, reply START.

6. Help — Reply HELP

For help at any time, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at (208) 296-6007 or matt@haleshealthins.com.

7. Privacy — No Sharing of Mobile Information

No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in or consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your information only with the service providers needed to deliver the messages (such as our SMS provider) and only as described in our Privacy Policy. SMS consent is not a condition of receiving services or purchasing insurance.

8. Supported Carriers & Delivery

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier’s network and is not guaranteed. Hales Health Insurance is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued participation in the SMS program after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
